"Food is almost always on point, a few items we have had are a little different than we expected, but the things we like are always very consistent. How fast service is as far as refills and checking what you need really depends on the person serving us. Food always is served fairly fast especially compared to other local places. Ordered online to get food delivered also, I have been amazed how fast it gets to us."

"I have gone to so many diners in Ephrata, Lancaster and Reading and I still choose the Cloister Restaurant every chance I get. I love how wholesome the staff and manager (his name is Oz) are and how delicious the food is everytime. Can't complain about anything here. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other diners. They even open on Thanksgiving because they are about everyone in the community having a place to come eat over the holiday. They don't open on Christmas but every other holiday, it's a full menu and it's open! Please drop by and try this place if you enjoy family style diner food!"

"We heard good things about this place but from me, you are going to hear GREAT things about this place! We ordered the Stuffed Flounder with crab. This consisted of 2 flounder fillets on top of 2 massive crab cakes. The tartar sauce really set the flounder off woth a bit of sweetness. We also had the option for soup or salad, 2 sides and pudding for dessert. This was a delicious meal and the service was outstanding. The entire family was very friendly and I believe that we will be returning in the future. Thank you for the great meal!"

"I can’t say enough great things about this family owner and run restaurant. The owner is so respectful and charming and his daughter who took our order is equally as amazing and hospitable. No wonder the place continues to be packed all throughout our stay at the place. I came with my large family visiting from Brooklyn NY and it was so so worth the travel. Our PA lodging is 40 minutes from the restaurant but it was all worth it. The freshness, quality and portion of the meal is unbeatable. Reasonable prices are great! We are already planning for next time to bring the rest of our family to try the place. Family friendly, kid friendly and Muslim friendly too. We ordered the 3 eggs with home fries and toast. It came with complimentary coffee. Also got the make your own omelette and pancakes. Pancakes are so light and fluffy. Thank you!"
